I am a guitar tech, I verified fully working before removing from a tele on 8/16/26. Sounds great, works like new. Just was going to a different sound.
FYI - There are 2 different control plates for Telecasters. The “narrow” one has the tone and volume slightly closer together. This is NOT the narrow, but standard. You could likely squeeze or resolder to fit a narrow control plate, but a control plate is only @$10 on amazon.

I live in Saratoga Springs and work by SLC airport. I am in Herriman and Draper almost daily, Lagoon in Farmington some weekends, so should be easy to meet.

Paper in Oil capacitors were used in vintage Fender and Gibsons for good reason... They sound amazing. Our kits are painstaking wired by hand one at a time in Broken Arrow Oklahoma, USA. We take great pride in our solder work and neatness when we craft our prewired kits. We build our kits to last a very long time and perform great. We think you will appreciate the detail both sonically and visually that goes into each and every one of our prewired kits.
This is a 3-Way Tele prewired assembly for Telecaster style guitars featuring 2 single coil pickups. It will drop into most American Fender Teles with no modification. **(If purchasing the Reverse control plate kit please see install notes below)**
Wired with 22 AWG vintage push-back wire for that vintage look and sound. Soldered connections to the input jack are insulated with heat-shrink to ensure durability and long life. If you are installing this on an import guitar with metric sized pots you may need to ream your control plate holes to accept the slightly larger US-Spec pots and buy US-Spec knobs.

BUILT & SPACED FOR USE ON STANDARD USA FENDER STYLE TELE CONTROL PLATES. CENTER TO CENTER OF VOLUME AND TONE POTS IS 2.50 INCHES. IMPORT GUITAR'S CONTROL PLATES MAY BE SPACED DIFFERENTLY
Reverse Control Plate Setup Note: Volume, Tone & 3-way Switch. (Volume Control is parallel to the bridge pickup for players that like to use their volume knob a lot for swells and more overall control). Due to the nature of "flipping your controls" you may have to modify your existing cavity route by lengthening the area underneath the the control plate to fit the reverse control layout.
