PayPalHammer Hammer is officially up for sale, this has been a very hard decisions for us. Hammer is 18 years old and a true “been there, done that” horse. He is honestly a once-in-a-lifetime horse. I have never owned a horse with such an incredible temperament and such a willing, kind personality. Hammer has been competing in High School Reining Cow Horse and has been hauled all over the country. His resume is a mile long, including winning money in the NRHA Open. Hammer also knows barrels and poles has ran flags in grand entries, carried rodeo royalty in parades and would be great for a younger youth learning. He knows his job, and more importantly, he takes care of his rider. One of the things I love most about Hammer is that anyone can ride him. He would be an absolutely amazing horse for a younger or less experienced rider to learn on. He is the kind of horse that can teach someone everything they need to know while building their confidence and taking care of them along the way. Hammer makes learning easy and he is very forgiving. Hammer does require some maintenance and injections, he is a absolute farrier’s dream. He will stand tied all day long without pawing or fussing. He bathes, loads, hauls and handles everything like a dream. He is just an incredibly easy horse to have around, and everyone loves Hammer. The only reason we are selling him is because my daughter is a very advanced and aggressive rider which Hammer could still teach but we feel he deserves a less aggressive rider as he gets older who will allow him to teach them while he enjoys his next chapter. Hammer is being sold as grade only because I do not have his papers. I do have a picture of them, but I never got him registered. This is not an easy horse to let go. Whoever ends up with Hammer is getting something truly special. I hope more than anything that he finds a home where he will be loved, appreciated, protected and allowed to shine. He has given us so much, and now it’s time for us to find the person who can give him the wonderful next chapter he deserves. Serious inquiries only.
