This gorgeous cope/robe is in very good to excellent condition other than some creases having been box stored for several years.

• The red lining appears to be original and in remarkably good condition.

• The orphreys (the decorative vertical bands on the front) seem complete and show little wear.

• The woven fabric has repeated Chi-Rho (☧) medallions with the motto “In Hoc Signo Vinces” (“In this sign you shall conquer”), a design seen on high-quality ecclesiastical textiles from the early to mid-20th century.

• The overall condition is very good to excellent for its age. There are no signs of fading, missing sections, or repairs.
