Truffle is a 4-month-old male Coonhound mix, currently around 20 lbs and estimated to be about 40–50 lbs full grown. He’s sweet, silly, affectionate and absolutely LOVES being close to his people. ️

🤎 THE CUDDLE BUG

Truffle LOVES his people. After he’s finished playing, he’s more than happy to curl up beside you—his favorite spot is snuggled up at the end of the bed. 🥹

THE SOCIAL BUTTERFLY

He does great with other dogs and LOVES playing with his foster siblings! Chasing, wrestling, cuddling…he’s here for all of it. He’s still a puppy, so he’s learning manners and boundaries along the way.

🥕 THE PROFESSIONAL TOY TESTER

Truffle is teething and loves his chew toys—especially his adorable vegetable-shaped calming toys. Apparently broccoli tastes better when it’s made for puppies. 🥦

THE PUPPY IN TRAINING

Truffle is still learning all those important puppy skills! He’s making progress with potty training, working on crate training and just beginning to figure out this whole leash-walking thing. Right now, sometimes the leash goes on and Truffle says, “Absolutely not. I live here now.”

With patience, consistency and positive reinforcement, he’s learning more every day. ️

He’s also an alert little guy who will let you know when someone is at the door!

Truffle is still just a baby. He doesn’t need someone expecting a perfectly trained dog—he needs someone excited to teach him, love him and let him grow into an amazing companion.
