Venmo1974 Holton H180 Farkas model full-size, free blowing (.468 – inch bore) professional orchestral horn with screw bell (large – throat 12 1/4 – inch bell). Serial number 525976. This Holton H180 is a double French horn with independent B – flat tuning. Some lacquer wear inside and outside the bell, but no dents in the body or bell. Plays very easily. Recently professionally deep cleaned and serviced at Summerhays music. Nice tight valve operation. The wooden case is in good shape, easy to carry , and comes with a mute and King H2 mouthpiece. Single owner since initial purchase.
Also included is the Philip Farkas book The Art of French Horn Playing, along with a concert program with autographs from Barry Tuckwell, Dale Clevenger, and Philip Farkas – – three heavy hitters in the horn world.
