Vintage C.G. Conn Ltd. Model 6D F/Bb double French horn, made in the USA.
The Conn 6D is a respected American double-horn design known for its warm, rich tone, good projection and comfortable response. This is not a basic entry-level single horn. It is a full double horn and makes an excellent step-up instrument for a developing student, advancing player, school ensemble or community musician.
This particular horn was previously used as a student instrument & it shows honest cosmetic wear from years of playing. More importantly, it has been cleaned, lubricated and tested by an advanced French horn player and plays very well.
It has the beautiful, full tone that makes vintage Conn double horns so enjoyable to play.
MECHANICAL CONDITION
• All four rotary valves operate smoothly and properly
• Valves are properly strung
• Moving components have been cleaned and lubricated
• Tested by an advanced French horn player
