My wife bought this thinking it might be good for out grand daughter. Took it to Summerhays Music and the price of repairs is about what the instrument would be worth so we passed. I've included a picture of the repair estimate and pictures of it's condition issues. It's also worth noting that they have a list of Amazon violins they will not work on at all.
The case is where the real value is. Guitar Center list it for $135.
