20 acres in the foothills of Murdock Mountain, northeastern Nevada. The property is between I80 and Montello / Grouse Creek and can be accessed from either direction. The roads in the area are in good shape and well maintained as there are several full time residents on the mountain, but none near my parcel. Just about any vehicle can access the property but I’d recommend a 4x4 especially during weather. I’ve towed several trailers there no problem, but also have gone there in my small SUV.
The property is not in the lower flat sage brush land. This is in the foothills and feels very secluded. The land has a mix of juniper and sage throughout. All raw land besides a metal roof storage shed that’s roughly 16”x20” but needs some TLC. Lots of good metal roof sheets on the property. I used it to store tools, building material, and misc items my family uses for camping out there. The “driveway” is level and leads to the northeast corner of the property near the storage shed.
There are no permanent utilities on the land currently. Residents in the area typically use solar, wind, or generator power, and well water or water delivery from Montello to storage tanks.
I’ve owned it for over a decade and have really enjoyed it. It’s a beautiful area with a ton of recreation opportunities. We typically would pull our RV out there to camp on the property, or just take out the SXS and explore all the nice trails.
Two hours from Salt Lake
40 minutes from Wendover
20 minutes to Montello
Borders 640 acres of BLM and tens of thousands of acres of BLM in the area.
Deer, Elk, and Antelope everywhere.
Crittenden Reservoir to the north is a private fly fishing reservoir known for giant trout.
Endless ATV trails in the area to explore. A cattle company owns most of the private parcels around and they allow access almost everywhere.
Asking $1000/acre. No liens on the land I own it outright. I’m happy to process the sale through a title company or a quit claim deed.
Let me know if you have any questions.
