Room Description

This student-only bedroom is a 250 sqft unit with a private bathroom. The bedroom includes a twin XL bed, two dressers, and a desk with a leather chair. The shared kitchen/living space includes a full size refrigerator and freezer, an oven range, a microwave, a round table with two chairs, a flat-screen television, and a large couch. There is also a spacious walk in pantry for extra food storage.

This 1042 sqft three-bed, three-bath unit is shared with two other roommates, although one is moving out so there will soon be another opening. A great option for a pair of roommates who lived in the dorms during the school year and are looking for summer housing that is close to campus!

Ivory University House also hosts several social events per month, providing you with lots of free food and a great chance to meet other students! As the summer approaches and the weather is getting warmer, there are usually people hanging out in the common areas outside. Play beach volleyball with your friends, lounge in the grass under the sun, or sit by the large fire pit and toast marshmallows in the cool summer evenings.

Location Information

This 4-story building is about as close to the University of Utah campus as you can get! A short walk across the block and you are there! There are also several bus routes servicing this street, including buses 9, 21, 213, and 455. It is also right down the street from the TRAX red line, so there is easy access to grocery stores and downtown Salt Lake City.

Roommate Description

Current roommates are two female college students. Each room is individually leased and includes a private bathroom. One roommate is looking to move out at the end of April, so another space in this apartment will be open at the same time.

Utilities

Each room is individually leased, so each tenant pays a $65 flat fee for all utilities. This is included in the monthly rent. Renters insurance is required and you can provide your own policy or pay $15 a month for the apartment's policy.

Lease Description

Base rent is $1040 a month. Utilities are a flat fee of $65 a month. This flat rate includes water, gas, electric, internet, sewer, and garbage. Renters insurance is required, and you can sign up under the apartment's policy for an additional $15 a month, or get your own policy. Monthly price of $1120 includes all utilities and renter's insurance.

This is a lease takeover. You must apply through leasing office. Subject to landlord approval. Current lease duration is May 1st to July 31st, 3 months this summer. However, if you end up loving the place and the close location to the University of Utah campus, you can renew it for the following year beginning Aug 1st.

No pets, no smoking/alcohol, no overnight guests. I currently have an emotional support animal that lives with me, but the apartment will be thoroughly cleaned before move out, so cat allergies shouldn't be an issue once you move in.

Great if you're looking for a place with "church standards," but the apartment is not super strict about other rules besides the three listed above. Parking lot is monitored and tows 24/7. Parking passes can be purchased and are an additional $75 a month
