PayPalBeautiful Ernst Heinrich Roth 1734 Violin 4/4 Vintage from 1975 Guarneri model. Looks to have been played very little, the pegs are original and the peg holes in the peg box look close to new without any wear. Thomastik-Infeld Dominant strings are close to new.
I was able to look inside the instrument and can report no repairs have been made to the inside, like cleats or patches. Hard to believe this is 50 years in this condition, fingerboard is original and has almost no ware. Amazing.
The greatest attribute of this violin is its distinctive highly developed sound. This violin really has it. The sound is wonderful, being immediate in response, and very focused. The overtones are rich, brilliant, and simply stunning to listen to. I could not put this violin down when I started playing on it. You will not have to work hard to get the overtones to jump off this instrument especially on the A and E they are incredible. This is not a beginner violin this is for an expert level player IMO.
