This is a beautiful copy of "Golden Tips: A Description of Ceylon and Its Great Tea Industry" by Henry William Cave (H.W. Cave). Originally published around 1900.
The cream cloth boards feature stunning, vibrant gold-gilt filigree patterning. The spine text is perfectly legible with minimal fading to the gilt. Very minor shelf wear and light dust-toning around the edges, which is incredibly common and well above average vintage quality for a light-colored cloth binding from this era.
The text block features brilliant, fully gilt edges (all edges gilt - AEG) with excellent shine and minimal scratching.
*Please note: There is a distinct flaw on the front inner hinge/pastedown (seen in the final photo).
