VenmoI have a SINGLE-OCCUPANCY, large, clean and nicely furnished private bedroom available now for a CLEAN, NON-SMOKING, NON-VAPING, NON-DRINKING mature, adult male in Salt Lake City, Utah. Non-Smoking means just that; the smell comes in on your clothes if you smoke, and travels with you in the house. I'd also prefer someone who doesn't wear smelly colognes that also stinks up the house and gives me headaches. I’m looking for a person who is at work or school during the daytime hours. I don’t want to tip-toe around during the day while a night shift person is sleeping so that it wastes all of my daytime hours when I’m at home. I’m also looking for someone with stability who is clean (especially the bathroom and kitchen), and planning on staying awhile and not just passing through.
The rent is $465 per month which includes all utilities (within reason), and high speed internet.
No public record of felonies or registered sex offenders will be considered, also no parolees will be considered as well. This is NOT a half-way house nor a rehab. facility. If I find out about issues like this "after the fact", this will be cause for immediate eviction.
I'm looking for a renter who is ADULT enough that is capable of keeping their room in an orderly fashion (not a FLOP HOUSE!). Someone who knows what is a vacuum cleaner and how to operate a vacuum cleaner (I provide) and a dust rag to keep their area clean! Also someone who knows how to put their things away and not "take over" the shared areas such as the bathroom and rest of the house. I'm also looking for someone who is adult enough who knows how to wash their own bed sheets and make their bed as there is no maid service here.
There is a nice twin mattress, mattress foundation and bedding in the room. Any blankets and comforters are up to you to provide for yourself along with bathroom towels, washrags, etc., and your own toilet paper and paper towels.
This room is perfect for professionals or students who wish for a clean, quiet and respectful atmosphere, but not as quiet as Outer Space. There are to be some noises expected in a home. But if your idea of quiet means online video gaming with screaming and yelling all evening and into the early morning hours all laced with profanities, then look elsewhere for some place to live. The room is a ground level private bedroom with a microwave oven in the room. There is a refrigerator downstairs (with ice maker) that will be shared between you and one other renter.
Shared spaces include the bathroom (shared with one other renter), refrigerator with ice maker, washer and dryer (for normal use, not daily micro-loads or overloading, also shared with home owner), kitchen (upstairs, must be kept clean at all times, including the stove top if you use it, and shared with homeowner).
CONVENIENT access to downtown, U of U, Ensign College and the SLCC campus at 1700 S. State Street.
Access to I-15, I-215, I-80 and Redwood Road are very close, quick and convenient by car. If you have your own car, there is plenty of on-street parking and the road is very wide for extra safety.

PLEASE READ BEFORE CONTACTING ME: I’m looking for someone who is an adult and capable of cleaning up after themselves and not trashing my home as folks usually treat a “rental” or "flop house", and to be respectful of me, my home and the other renter.
If you’re into strong smelling cooking that will constantly permeate the smell and atmosphere of my home, such as strong coffee, fishy fish, bacon, curry, or frying (this includes pan, griddle and deep frying), etc.; please look elsewhere; we don't want to smell it and I don't want to clean up the mess.
Rent is due on the 1st of the month. If you move in after the 1st, then I will pro-rate the remainder of the month so that you're only paying for your actual time here. There is also a $325 security/cleaning deposit upon move in as well,(up to $290 refundable within 30 days after move-out if all conditions are met).
