Apache is a grade Paint gelding with the kindest heart. Multiple veterinarians have estimated him to be around 13 years old.

Apache was previously a beloved lesson horse in our program before a young girl fell in love with him and purchased him. Unfortunately, he has recently been diagnosed with kissing spine and is currently being offered as groundwork/pasture pet sound only.

Aside from his back, Apache is completely sound. His legs and feet are healthy, and he is currently barefoot on all four feet. He is easy to catch, wonderful for the farrier, an easy keeper, and has a gentle, kind disposition. In a herd, he is typically middle of the pecking order and gets along well with other horses.

Although he is being sold as groundwork sound at this time, his veterinarian believes that with surgery there is a good possibility he could return to ridden work in the future. However, he is being sold with no guarantees regarding future riding soundness.
