Meet Alice! Alice is a 13 year old, registered Appaloosa Mare, standing at 15.2 hands. I have owned Alice for almost 4 years , but I am heading off to college and am looking for someone to lease her while I am gone!

Alice is a fully trained, bomb proof, sweet mare. She was started in Polo Cross for the first 8 years of her life, until we bought her from a lesson program in Utah. I have done just about everything with this horse! I mostly ride her casually, but she loves to jump, hit the trails, or just have a chill bareback ride. She has been ridden with a bit, bitless, bareback, in a western saddle, and in a jump saddle. I have done some small local shows with her but nothing huge. I have jumped around 2'3-2'6 with her. Predominantly looking for an English rider, but she could also ride western. Alice is near bomb proof, with no spook or naughty habits. She has been complimented on her ability to stand perfectly for the farrier (she is not shod, just barefoot), loads right into a trailer, great for baths etc. I have found the most success with her doing positive reinforcement training, alongside lots of horsemanship and groundwork. I love this horse. She is really special.

Alice is more of a forward ride, so I am looking for an intermediate to advanced rider, who is gentle and will listen to her. I am leaving in September, so that is when she will be available, but you can come ride throughout the summer and meet her if you'd like! Currently located in Salt Lake City, but can be moved *with permission*. We will cover vet bills, and grain. Looking for 750$ a month.
