VenmoOriginal Imperial Japanese Army Type 90 steel helmet brought home from Okinawa by my grandfather following World War II.
The helmet retains its original leather three-pad liner, original web chinstrap, and original steel shell. The exterior shows honest age with heavy surface rust and wear from decades of storage. The front star is no longer present, but the helmet has not been restored or altered.
The original gold star is missing. The white-painted 不 character inside the rim is likely a unit, inventory, or rack marking added during service or later use.
A solid untouched example with family provenance, ideal for collectors of WWII Pacific Theater memorabilia.
