Tuddy is a 17-year old Bay grade Gelding, 14.3H'ish tall, . Very broke and extremely gentle to be around. He's an easy keeper, easy to catch, stands nice to shoe, loads/unloads easy, and trailers nicely. He’s the kind that comes to you when he sees you at the fence. He’s quiet in the pasture and nothing spooks him. He’s in excellent shape, had shoes replaced recently. Used mostly as a trail horse, but has also been in the arena. Previous owners had used him for hunting and packed with him. We can throw a halter on him and the kids ride him bareback in the back yard.
We've owned him a little over a year and we've loved every minute of it, but he shows signs of being Buddy Sour when he gets around other horses. He's alone in our back yard and we aren't in a position to get a second horse. We'd much rather see him in a home where he'll have a friend or two and can be put to good use. When he's alone, he'll do any thing me or my wife ask of him while riding him and any of our kids can ride to, he does great. But at the arena, when he sees another horse, he shows a little anxious side and requires a rider that knows what to do. But no buck in him at all. We think this anxiety will fade when he's back with other horses at home, as he was not that way when we bought him.
