Meet Marco!

Marco is a tiny guy with a big Chihuahua personality! Born in December 2016 and weighing just 4 pounds, this little gentleman knows exactly what he likes—and what he doesn't.

Marco is looking for that special person to become his one-and-only best friend. He's not the type of dog who wants to be everyone's buddy, and he certainly isn't interested in being passed around or fussed over by strangers. Think of Marco as a "look but don't touch" kind of dog—a little museum piece you can admire until he decides you've earned a spot in his inner circle.

As a typical Chihuahua, Marco isn't a fan of fast movements or chaos, so he'll do best in a home without children. He's happiest in a calm environment with people who respect his space and understand that relationships are built on trust, not forced affection.

Marco can be selective about both people and dogs. Surprisingly, he often does well with a confident dog who can set appropriate boundaries and keep him in check. He doesn't need a canine companion, but the right dog could be a good match.

His ideal home would be with someone older or retired who is home often and appreciates a dog with a little attitude and a lot of character. Marco isn't looking for a social butterfly lifestyle—he's looking for a quiet place where he can settle in, observe the world, and choose his people carefully.
