Meet Summit!

At just 5.5 months old, Summit is a sweet, sensitive puppy who's still learning that the world isn't as scary as it seems. New people, new places, and new experiences can be overwhelming for him, so he'll need a patient adopter who will let him build confidence at his own pace.

Once Summit trusts you, he's incredibly affectionate and loves being close to his people. He's the kind of puppy who craves love and reassurance and is happiest when he's soaking up attention from those he loves.

Like many German Shepherds, Summit has plenty to say and isn't afraid to share it with an adorable shepherd whine. He can be slow to warm up to new dogs and people, but once he feels safe, he enjoys their company. He also does well with kids and other dogs after he's had time to build trust. He's still figuring out the whole "treat" thing, but he already knows his name, responds to "sit," and is fully potty trained.

One thing Summit knows for certain? Water is the best. He absolutely loves ice pools and can often be found digging at his water bowl in hopes of making a splash. He's also wonderful on leash and enjoys exploring the world alongside someone he trusts.
