Squints is neutered, up to date on all vaccines and is potty trained. He’s estimated to be 12 weeks old. Squints is already proving that a little imperfection can come with a whole lot of personality! This adorable kitten has some vascular damage to his eye, but thankfully, it doesn’t bother him and he doesn’t let it slow him down one bit. He’s busy being a kitten, playing, exploring, and being the most cuddly boy in the world. Squints has experienced symptoms that may be consistent with feline herpesvirus (FHV-1), a very common virus in cats that can cause occasional upper respiratory or eye symptoms. While feline herpes can remain in a cat's system for life, many cats live completely normal, happy lives and may have few or no symptoms between flare-ups. The good news? Feline herpes is specific to cats and cannot be transmitted to people or dogs. Potential adopters should be comfortable monitoring for occasional symptoms and working with their veterinarian if a flare-up occurs. We believe in being transparent about the health of every animal in our care and are happy to share Squints' veterinary history and answer any questions. If you're looking for a sweet little guy who may see the world a little differently but has just as much love to give, Squints might be your perfect match! 🐾❤️
