Arty is a 8-year-old registered AQHA bay roan gelding looking for a confident, experienced horseman who wants a young horse to put to work.

He has real ranch and cattle experience. Arty has been roped off, chased cattle, drug calves and worked around a feedlot. He has the athletic ability and willingness to make a really nice ranch, rope or all-around using horse with the right person putting consistent miles and a job on him.

He is good around other horses and does well working in the arena by himself. He is also good to shoe.

Arty does best with a rider who is willing to lunge or work him before getting on when he has had time off. When he is being ridden consistently and has a job, he gets much more dependable to saddle up and go. Because he has not been getting regular riding, he currently needs someone experienced enough to put some consistent riding and miles on him.

He is not a finished push-button horse, and I don’t want to misrepresent him. He is a young horse with a lot of ability who needs someone willing to put the time into him.

I absolutely love this horse and would keep him if I had the time to give him the consistent riding he deserves. Unfortunately, between work, family and being a mom, I simply cannot give him the job and miles he needs.

I’m looking for the right home where someone can get him back into a regular program and use his potential.
